The concept of “terroir” and sustainable viticulture in Familia Martínez Bujanda goes beyond the growing itself, and the technical means must be as much unnoticed as possible to get a harmonious combination.
The winery is a contemporary project, made of materials such as concrete, crystal and brick, typical of the Rueda region, which allows the perfect integration of the building and the landscape.
The Winery
Familia Martínez Bujanda, as it happened with Finca Valpiedra and Finca Antigua, had a very clear idea on the concept they wanted for Finca Montepedroso. Full integration in the natural surroundings, the use of clean material, typical of the area, as well as efficiency and energetic exploitation; these were the first demands to their group of architects.

Situated on a plateau, Finca Montepedroso is building which is almost buried within the landscape; with an almost nonexistent environmental trace; with an avant-garde concept and the highest respect to the environment thanks to the self-supply of solar energy and the recovering of rain water to address the demands of the elaboration plant.
